Kevin S. Little

Kevin S. Little

Kevin Little is a partner of Brownstein Nguyen & Little. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in South Georgia. He graduated from Augusta State University (B.A. 1987) and Georgia State University College of Law (J.D. 1991). Upon completing his legal education, Mr. Little served as a federal Law Clerk for four years: two years for the Honorable John S. Dalis, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Georgia, followed by two years for the Honorable Dudley H. Bowen, Jr., United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. He then worked as an associate for the law firms of Hicks, Maloof & Campbell (now McKenna, Long & Aldridge) in Atlanta, Georgia and Henderson & Salley (now Hull, Towill, Norman & Salley) in Aiken, South Carolina, principally handling commercial, bankruptcy and defense litigation. In 1997, Mr. Little began his own law practice and shifted his focus to where his true professional interests lie, seeking remedies for individuals, professionals and small businesses who have been wronged.

Mr. Little's practice is selective and limited primarily to civil cases that deserve a substantial commitment of time and attention. He has represented people from all walks of life, including mechanics, executives, laborers, day care workers, doctors, sales people, business owners and entrepreneurs.

Most of his cases are brought in federal or state courts in Georgia and South Carolina; however, Mr. Little has represented clients throughout the country in class actions, collective actions and individual cases. The majority of the cases he has filed are defended by large, prestigious defense firms. Mr. Little represents clients before state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level, administrative agencies, arbitration in JAMS and AAA, and before various mediators. He has argued before the South Carolina Court of Appeals, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is licensed to practice in Georgia and South Carolina, and admitted to the Fourth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal and United States District Courts for the Southern District of Georgia, the Northern District of Georgia and South Carolina.

Mr. Little does not charge a fee for standard case evaluation.  When he accepts a case, his client has direct access to him at all times. He has built his practice on accessibility and responsiveness to clients, high quality representation, professionalism and good results. He is peer-rated 'AV' by Martindale-Hubbell -- its highest rating. Mr. Little is a member of the Former Federal Law Clerks Society, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the Atlanta and Augusta (Georgia) Bar Associations. When not practicing law, Mr. Little enjoys the company of his family and friends and, when time allows, golfing, water skiing, traveling abroad and attempts at oil painting.
